AI Leap 2025

AI Leap 2025 is an Estonian educational innovation program aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into the learning environment while fostering critical thinking and creativity among students. The strategy prioritizes the development of AI literacy for both teachers and students, emphasizing the responsible use of AI tools in education. Key policy areas include teacher training, the creation of subject-specific teaching materials, and the development of a dedicated learning application for grades 10-11 that supports students in their learning processes rather than providing direct answers. The program is set to be evaluated by educational psychologists and researchers, with a focus on long-term impacts. By the end of 2025, all participating students will have access to the new learning app, developed in collaboration with various stakeholders, including private sector partners. AI Leap aims to position Estonia as a global leader in educational innovation in the age of AI, ensuring that technology enhances rather than replaces traditional learning methods.
